Primitive. The RO is built on a shape — an octagon, a flat dial, a slim case. Shapes belong to no decade. The Offshore is built on decisions, and decisions date at the speed of the decade that made them.
Primitive plus one accent. The RO makes a single move — the octagon with exposed screws — and then goes completely quiet. That restraint is the whole trick. One idea, total conviction, nothing else competing for your eye.
The Offshore does the opposite. It takes that one idea and keeps adding: the Méga Tapisserie dial, the oversized case, the rubber pushers, the tachymeter, the colour. Every cue is a bet on a moment, and the bets stack until the watch is carrying more era than it can hold.
